More On- One Big Assed Mistake America

OBAMA still does not get it! He chaired the health care camp fire at Blair House today and was exposed for the ideologue he really is, even though he has denied it over and over again. He is so focused on his personal agenda that he is oblivious of the messages that the American public are sending him, “We don’t want the government involved in our personal health care decisions which are a private matter between our family and our primary care physician!

I am sorry that his mother was denied the care and treatment that he thought she should have gotten to fight her cancer. There needs to be a revamping of insurance regulations and restraints placed on frivolous law suits, but that can and should be done without the government taking over the health care industry! He seems to want to carry out a personal vendetta against the health insurance industry, i.e., destroy it and replace it with a government run “Public Option”. Do you trust the government to regulate and oversee your health care? How did they do with the banking industry? Fannie Mae? Freddie Mac? FEMA? (ask the people along the gulf coast) and how about the United States Postal Service? There is no privately run industry that is so rampantly infested with fraud, waste and abuse as the best run government agency! Now we have them involved in Banking, Insurance and Automobile manufacturing. What could possibly go wrong there? It is no wonder that people are angry, frustrated and just plain fed up with politicians whose first concern is their own self interest. How many of our so called representatives go to congress as middle class business men and leave their government posts with a fortune? Too many! It is all about Power!

I noticed that President Obama got quite testy with Senator McCain over his remarks about the shady, backroom deals made to buy votes, particularly with regard to the bribes to the senators from Louisiana, Nebraska and Florida, and the tax exemption for union members. Obama wanted to get off that subject as quickly as possible. McCain was ruining the “dog and pony show” being staged for the American Public’s benefit. Wrong again, Barack!

Thomas Sowell had an interesting column yesterday about senseless apologies being offered in place of taking personal responsibility for stupid actions. He was lamenting the tendency nowadays of turning individuals bad behavior into a societal issue instead of placing the blame on the perpetrator, where it belongs. These are progressive ideas, like apologizing for slavery, by people who never had a slave to people who never have been enslaved. What is the point? Exactly!
That was my reaction to today’s Blair House chat!

I would have been better off tending to business.
